The main flower stalk when small, a secondary stalk that bears flowers, or each of the secondary or subordinate stalks that immediately bear the flowers in a branched inflorescence is a pedicel. »

All those parts—calyx, corolla, stamens, and carpels—are attached to the receptacle, the somewhat specialized summit of the pedicel (Fred W. Emerson).
